Use cases
Migrating off a legacy core
A bank moves its client base, accounts and transaction history from a self-built or outdated system onto a modern core with its country’s regulatory reporting ready out of the box.
How it goes
- 01
Audit of the current system
We review the chart of accounts, products, integrations and reporting of the current core and draw up a data migration map.
- 02
Migration and reconciliation
We move clients, accounts, balances and transaction history, then reconcile the general ledger with the operational registers.
- 03
Parallel run
The new core produces postings and reports next to the old system, and differences are resolved before the switch.
- 04
Switch over
The bank closes its last operational day in the old system and opens the next one in A3.Bank.
